Dr Ameltass L.S. has been practising homeopathy for past seven years. He is a registered practitioner with the Central Council of Homeopathy, New Delhi, along with the State Medical Councils of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Previously, he has worked as a consultant homeopath at the Doctors Diagnostic Centre, besides serving as a resident medical officer at the Homeopathic Medical Centre, Cochin. He is an active participant at the Continuing Medical Education Programme, sponsored by the department of AYUSH, the Government of India.

During 2014 to 2015, he was chosen from the Institute of Homeopaths, Kerala, to be trained for the implementation and usage of Hompath Wildfire — a homeopathic software for faster case processing, managements and data documentation — as a trainer (south zone).

He has been an active participant and coordinator of various homeopathic preventive medical camps conducted by the Indian Red Cross and other public health-sector institutes during the swine flu outbreaks.

He has presented academic papers on the homeopathic management of respiratory disorders.
