Now you are surely thinking about what is that shortcut? It is off-course the food we eat. Food is fuel; food is energy and food is nourishment for our body. You can glow from the inside out with the right foods. It is our best attempt to help you get to a glowing, spotless skin by including the following 5 vegan foods in your diet for a great skin.

  1. Almonds

Almonds are considered as a “superfood” due to the presence of high amount of nutrients within it. Almonds contain a range of vital nutrients in the form of soluble and insoluble fibre, proteins, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E, potassium, zinc, calcium and magnesium. All these nutrients are highly essential for our skin health. Aging can easily be prevented with soaked almonds. Vitamin E and the other antioxidants present in almonds can help to eliminate the harmful free radicals in our body and hence it delays the aging process of the skin and you can look younger for a longer period. Best ways to consume almonds are by soaking them overnight and then eating them raw. It can also be added to fruits with some water, blended together and can be consumed as a protein shake post exercise.

Carrots not only have a delicious flavour but are also packed with good amounts of beta-carotene, vitamin A, minerals and antioxidants. Carrots offer many health benefits especially for organs like the eyes, skin, digestive system and teeth. Due to its essential contents like vitamin A, beta-carotene and antioxidants, carrots are highly beneficial for getting a glowing skin, getting rid of blemishes / scars, sun protection, preventing skin dryness, quick wound healing and delaying skin from ageing. It can be consumed by consuming it just the way they are or as a juice. Best way to consume carrots is raw. Cooking it would destroy its nutrient values.
